{"id":22995,"date":"2023-07-23T23:49:25","date_gmt":"2023-07-23T21:49:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/?p=22995"},"modified":"2024-03-07T10:51:26","modified_gmt":"2024-03-07T09:51:26","slug":"bobblestripes-last-pattern-and-cushions-finishing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/en\/bobblestripes-last-pattern-and-cushions-finishing\/","title":{"rendered":"Bobble&#038;stripes, last pattern and cushions finishing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here comes <strong>the latest pattern<\/strong> for our crochet <strong>cushions worked<\/strong> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/en\/collection\/milo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Milo yarn<\/strong>.<\/a> So, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/en\/crochet-bricks-cream-and-two-tone-patterns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>first 2 patterns<\/strong><\/a> exploited bricks and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/en\/crochet-stripes-dc-and-x-motifs-in-two-colors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>third pattern<\/strong><\/a> was a stripe motif. And <strong>this fourth is a bobble&amp;stripes motif<\/strong>, in a regular alternation of brown and cream. For a 40x40cm cushion work 20x20cm each motif square. When you have finished all motifs, you can get on with the finishing.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Motif with bobbles and stripes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-22996\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble-stripes_pic.jpg\" alt=\"bobble&amp;stripes motif\" width=\"350\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble-stripes_pic.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble-stripes_pic-200x200.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble-stripes_pic-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>With a 3.00mm crochet hook and brown yarn<\/strong> ch a number, as long as desired, multiple of 4 plus 1. Work a row of dc, then join cream yarn and work 2 rows of dc in cream. Then work following row (cream bobble row): ch3 (= first tr); * 1 bobble into each of next 3 sts [bobble = yarn on hook (yo), insert hook into next st and draw a loop, (yo, insert hook into same st and draw a loop) twice more,<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23002\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble_step.jpg\" alt=\"bobble step\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble_step.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble_step-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.lanagatto.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/bobble_step-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>yo and draw through all loops on hook, closing bobble], 1 tr into next st; rep from * to end. Work another row of dc with cream yarn, then with brown yarn work following row (brown bobble row): ch3 (= first tr), * 1 bobble into next st, 1 tr into next st, 1 bobble into each of next 2 sts; rep from * to last st, end with 1 tr instead of a bobble. Work 3 rows of dc with brown yarn. Rep last 8 rows throughout\u20134 rows cream and 4 rows brown- until work is as long as required, ending with a row of dc with brown yarn. Fasten off.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>And now\u2026the Cushion!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The four motifs are there! <strong>To obtain a cushion measuring approx 40x40cm<\/strong>, <strong>we need 8 square motifs<\/strong>, whose 4 for frontside and 4 for backside. Taking inspiration from two different arrangements proposed or following your personal imagination, you have to work required number of motifs in order to obtain a cushion or more cushions.<br \/>\n<strong>When all the motifs are finished and ready to join<\/strong>, it is necessary to <strong>make them all the same size<\/strong> with the getting in shape, as follows: first, fasten off and weave in ends. Lay out Motifs on a flat surface, covered with an ironing cloth. Pin out each Motif to measurements. Cover with a slightly damp cloth and leave to dry. Remove the pins only when the cloth and the Motif are perfectly dry.<br \/>\nNow <strong>join 4 Motifs with yarn needle or crochet hook<\/strong>, taking corresponding edge stitches of two neighboring Motifs.
