FINISHING
Pin eyes in central part of Head, then sew eyes leaving an opening for stuffing. Stuff eyes and close opening. Using black yarn, make a central vertical seam to divide the eyes. Sew the pad-shaped buttons in the center of the eyes, on either side of the vertical seam, to form the pupils. Sew the moustache under the eyes, then the nose between the two parts of moustache. Fold the mouth in half, flatten it to form a semicircle, and sew it in the center of the head, under the moustache. Fold the ears in half, flatten them to form two semicircles, and sew them to the sides of the head. Sew the hat onto the dwarf’s head, at the end of the red part and the beginning of the white flap (if you want the hat to remain straight, stuff it before sewing it onto the head). Sew the shoes under the dwarf’s body. Alternatively, some parts can be fixed with fabric glue.
