1 balls of Nuovo Jaipur yarn in the following colours: cream, yellow, light yellow – A 3.00mm crochet hook – Yarn needle with rounded point – Stitch-markers – Wadding for stuffing – Pins – Glue gun

Dwarf: measurement approx 22cm high.
Hat
1st round: with yellow yarn make a magic ring; into ring ch1 (that doesn’t count EVER as stitch) and dc6, then cont working in a spiral, i. e. don’t close each round but cont working the following round, placing a stitch-marker into first dc on each round to indicate beginning. At end of first round, pull yarn to close magic ring.
2nd round: 6 dc.
3rd round: [1 dc into next stitch, 1 inc (= 2 dc into same stitch)] 3 times (= 9 dc).
4th round: 9 dc.
5th round: (1 dc into 2 following sts, 1 inc) 3 times (= 12 dc).
6nd round: 12 dc.
7th round: (1 dc into 2 following sts, 1 inc) 4 times (= 16 dc).
8th and 9th rounds: 16 dc.
10th round: (1 dc into 3 following sts, 1 inc) 4 times (= 20 dc).

Fasten off and cut yarn.
Bow: with cream yarn ch15 and, starting from 2th ch from hook, work 14 dc inserting hook in back loop.
Work 11 rows in total, fasten off and cut yarn. Stitch thread, curl the centre, pull the thread tight and wrap it around the centre of the bow several times and fasten it on the reverse side.
Little flowers – (make 10 alike) – with light yellow yarn make a magic ring; into ring ch1 and dc5, at end of first round, pull yarn to close magic ring. Continue with cream.
2rd round: inserting hook in front loop work into 5 following sts (ss1, ch1, tr2, ch1 and ss1).
Fasten off and cut yarns.
Nose
1st round: work as the body with yellow yarn.
2rd round: (1 dc into next st, 2 inc, 1 dc into next st) twice (= 12 dc).
3rd round: (1 dc into 2 following sts, 2 inc, dc into 2 following sts) twice (= 16 dc).
4th and 5th rounds: 16 dc.
6th round: 1 dec 8 times (= 8 dc). Fasten off and cut yarn, leaving a long end.
Note: stuff the nose well with synthetic wadding when the work is almost finished.
Arms – (make 2 alike) – 1st and 2rd round: work as the ears with yellow yarn.
3th and 4th rounds: 9 dc.
5th round: 1 dec, 1 dc into 7 following sts (= 8 dc).
Continue with cream.
From 6th to 13th round: 8 dc.
Fasten off and cut yarn, leaving a long end.
Feet – (make 2 alike)
1st round: work as the hat with cream yarn.
2rd round: 1 inc 6 times (= 12 dc).
From 3th to 5th round: 12 dc.
6th round: (1 dc into 5 following sts, 1 inc) twice (= 14 dc).
7th round: 14 dc.
8th round: (1 dc into 6 following sts, 1 inc) twice (= 16 dc).
9th round: 16 dc.
10th round: 1 dec 8 times (= 8 dc).
Fasten off and cut yarn, leaving a long end.
Heels: with yellow yarn make a magic ring; into ring ch1 and dc8 and ss1. At end of first round, pull yarn to close magic ring. Sew the heel in the centre of the foot between the 2nd and 6th rounds. Embroider 3 cross stitches on top of the foot in yellow.
Eggs – (make 1 with yellow and 1 with light yellow)
1st round: work as the body with yellow yarn.
2rd round: 1 inc 8 times (= 16 dc).
3th round: 16 dc.
4th round: (1 dc into next st, 1 inc) 8 times (= 24 dc).
5th and 6th rounds: 24 dc.
7th round: (1 dc into 3 following sts, 1 inc) 6 times (= 30 dc).
8th and 9th rounds: 30 dc.
10th round: (1 dc into 4 following sts, 1 inc) 6 times (= 36 dc).
From 11th to 15th round: 36 dc.
16th round: (1 dc into 4 following sts, 1 dec) 6 times (= 30 dc).
17th round: (1 dc into 3 following sts, 1 dec) 6 times (= 24 dc).
18th round: (1 dc into 2 following sts, 1 dec) 6 times (= 18 dc).

Note: stuff the egg well with synthetic wadding when the work is almost finished.
FINISHING
Fold the ears in half and sew them on top of the hat brim 4 sts apart. Sew or glue 8 flowers onto the hat, sew the bow in front of the ears. Sew the nose in the centre of the upper body and the arms at the sides between the 27th and 28th rounds. Sew the feet to the body between the 9th and 21st rounds. Glue a small flower in the centre of each egg.
