Here comes a new stitch for our cushions matching 2022 blanket . If the first 2 patterns exploited bricks, the new proposal chooses crochet stripes, alternating on colors and heights between double crochet and X motifs. The yarn is still our Milo. For a 40x40cm cushion work 20x20cm each motif square.
Crochet stripes motif
With a 3.00mm crochet hook and brown yarn ch an even number, as long as desired. Work a row of dc, then join cream yarn and work 4 rows of dc in cream. With brown yarn work following row (cross st row): ch2 (= first htr), * 2 cross sts (– miss 1 st, work 1 htr into next st, then work 1 htr into missed st, over previous st);
rep from * ending with 1 htr. Work next row of dc with brown yarn, then work 4 rows of dc with cream yarn. With brown yarn work a dc row, then work a cross st row. Rep these rows until work is as long as required, but end with a dc row with brown yarn (omitting last cross st row). Fasten off.
