Feminine and charismatic! The midi skirt is an essential item in the 2023 Spring/Summer closet. Designers have imagined them in every version and material: straight in denim with a slit in front—the seasonal must-have—, flared, pleated, with embroidered inserts.
We prepared 2 total crochet models by combining this length and yarns from SS Collection. The matching natural fibers are Linen from Fresh, a certainty for summer, and Cotton from Milo, another winning choice.
In the first proposal, the yellow suit, skirt is paired with a cropped top. Texture is a regular succession of squares, alternating treble with shell stitch. All around there are rows of spaces. On the skirt, for flaring, there are trebles-and-spaces wedge panels between lines of squares.
In the second proposal, however, a romantic pink, skirt joins top to form a cute dress. Here, we work treble and filet mesh stitch. Skirt alternates filet mesh bands and treble bands. The wide straps top is all in filet mesh and we work horizontally for a lovely contrasting texture direction.
